I would like to say thanks to Martin as I have passed my bike test after just five lessons. Martin made
me feel relaxed and confident on a bike. I would recomend KickStart to anyone who is thinking of taking their
bike test as the fees at KickStart are very reasonable. Once again, thanks to Martin and the KickStart team.

...OMIGOD,I PASSED,I PASSED,I PASSED!!!!!!...(did i mention i passed??)....can't thank Martin enough for all
his excellent training and advice (and EDDIE too of course)...what started as a seemingly impossible dream
last year became a realistic prospect after a couple of false starts along the way..(anyone wanna buy a
scooter??)..I finally mustered the guts to tackle the "big bike",and a few weeks later here I am clutching my
full licence in my greasy mitts...thanks to Dave,Eddie and of course Martin for having the faith and
confidence in me that I myself didn't have...it's all your faults that I'm now unleashed on the public
highway!!!!...seriously,I would recommend kickstart to anyone, especially after being ripped off by another
school, both in terms of price and quality of tuition... (Year 2000 anyone??)...xxxxxx

Just want to say a huge thank you to everyone at Kickstart. I went from a complete unco-ordinated novice (I
began my CBT three days after my 33rd birthday) to first time pass in exactly two months. The quality of
tuition is second-to-none and Martins professional and relaxed teaching methods put me completely at ease,
whilst enabling me to develop as a rider.
In a way I'll sadly miss the lessons now I've
passed, but will
definately be going back for advanced training when I get a bigger bike.
Thanks again guys
and see you
soon.

The standard of training offered by Martin and Eddie is superb. As advanced riding instructors, they are able
to give far greater depth of knowledge and experience to new riders than other instrustors might be able to.
This knowledge is invaluable when on the road, and it's saved my ass a number of times. They will do
everything they can to improve your riding skills and make you a safer rider.

They're fantastic teachers,
good blokes, their prices are the best in the area and they deserve your cash a lot more than a big dealership
does. Give them a ring now and get your lessons booked!

Martin from Kick Start has kindly offered to support the "Heros Run" (Charity Bike ride from Lands End
To
John OGroats for the Armed Forces and Police Service Benevolent Fund) by offering a FREE Compulsary
Bike
Training Course to one of our riders.

I actually completed my CBT with Kick Start and found the easy
going
approach very enjoyable I learn't loads and still continue to learn. The team will put you at ease
straight
away and if you have never ridden a bike before there is absolutely no need to be nervous like I
was. These
Guys really know what they are talking about.

bit belated feedback, I passed my DAS test back in October 2006 and sailed through thanks to the
very
laid back intructions and training I received. Kick Start where the first school that didnt try and sign
me up for a 3/4/5 day course and want £400 of me, and also were honest enough to tell me to stop wasting money
on lessons I didnt need.

Thanks again.

Just passed my DAS with kickstart and would recomend kickstart everytime. At Kick start you have 2
vastly
experienced instructors Eddie and Martin. Over the course of my training I had lessons from both guys
and
found this really useful. You get 2 different takes on things - double the advice. Its like buy one get
one
free! and it really works. I will be going back in the new year to do the advanced course. Thanks

You've found the right place!
After Scrolling the internet looking for a rider training course to get
through my bike license I found the Kickstart website, after reading the testimonials I thought these guys
sound ok(although I was sceptical about the testimonials to be honest), I'll give them a call and do my CBT
see how I get on and then decide whether or not to continue training with them for my DAS. I had ridden
before, on all kinds of bikes whilst I lived abroad I "thought" I already knew how to ride! After spending the
day with Eddie doing my CBT my only regret was that I hadn't found them earlier, I left the Kickstart centre
with a newfound confidence, interest and maturity that I never had before. Learning with these guys is
unbelievably relaxed and astonishingly professional all at the same time? I immediately booked my lessons for
my DAS and began my on the road training with Martin, his attention to detail was astonishing and his attitude
and communication inspiring. I've just taken my test and after really just following the Kickstart
instructions, passed without problem. (Riding back to Kickstart without the radio was almost worth it in
itself I wasn't a learner anymore!). An experience I won't forget and a great pleasure to recommend. I wish
all the Kickstart team all of the success you so honestly deserve. Craig - KCR

Amazon Heart Thunder
Just a word of thanks and appreciation to Eddie and Martin at Kickstart for all their
generosity and hard work they are putting in in order to help me to raise sponsorship for my ride down under.
The motorcycle ride that I am doing is in conjunction with Amazon Heart Thunder. We are all survivors of
breast cancer and we hope to raise awareness of this awful disease. In particular, Inflammatory Breast Cancer.
Indeed, all funds I raise will go to I.B.C.UK and Amazon Heart Trust UK. Harley Davidson are sponsoring us and
we get the chance to ride from Sydney to Brisbane all on Harley's.! WOW ! What a challenge. The furthest Ive
ever ridden is 60 miles !! If anyone would like to sponsor me please see the following link..
** All donations can be made online. Every 50p counts. Thanks to you
guys for believing in me and keeping me sane !! Wish me luck everyone !! Liz Furlong

C.B.T. With Eddie
I finished my 1 day (ahem, 2day) C.B.T. training today and had a great time doing it. The
reason I recommend Kickstart is they have one objective in mind, to get riders on the road safely. Everything
is clearly explained and the training is thorough yet laid back, incase you're worried about instructors
nagging (Eddie does nag occaisionally but just tell him to shut it!) All in all, quality training and
recommended to all. Thanks!

humour, patience & fantatic knowledge guided me on my way to enjoying riding to the max. Thanks again, Chris.

DAS INSTRUCTOR'S COURSE
Just got back from Cardington after taking (and Passing!) my DSA DAS Instructors
examination, having taken the course with another school and getting nowhere but confused I'd like to say a
big thanks to Martin at Kickstart for his down-to-earth straightforward approach to Instructor Training. Even
when all my lesson notes became a big black smudge due to torrential rain, panic did not set in and I
delivered my lessons in true Kickstart fashion and got a near perfect score first time !! many thanks mate,
especially for the bike loan and the red wine!!! Anyone thinking of becoming an Instructor look no further
than this site! Cheers, Lucky ps it was a joy to watch you get that Pan round the 2008 test route, I wanna be
like you when I grow up!!

Just to say thanks very much for dragging me through my test! Ha ha, not really! Seriously,
I had a fab time learning to ride a motorbike from start to finish, especially since I'd never even sat on one

true what you said, theres motorcyclists and theres bikers! Thanks to you you guys, I'm the latter! (I
hope)!Martin, thanks so much for being so patient with me, and Eddie, thanks for the coffee! Andy

Can't thank you enough!!!
Wow What a feeling..... Today I passed my A2 motorbike test.!...... But I must say
first of all a sincere thank you to Martin ...who has helped me develop from the CBT to todays successful
outcome. This morning before my test.....it started out as a very cold morning, lots of drissle! Nervous but
at the sametime excited. So close, yet at that present time before the test...yet so far away to achieve my
goal.Anticipation!!!!. For years I've been pillion. Come from a family of biker enthusiasts and 2 weeks ago
married one. Although I was interested in doing my bike test for the love of it.....I still felt a certain
amount of pressure to succeed. From myself! kick-starter I found by chance.....and that chance I'm so lucky
and thankful for. From the very first day I arrived at Kick-start they have this amazing ability to make you
feel very comfortable with the enviroment. From day one they have given me sound advice, direction, tuition
and the confidence not only to believe in myself but in them also. Today Martin was able to take me on a
lesson prior to the test and as always was calm, encouraging to the point that before the test I wasn't that
nervous. Afer every lesson, I can honestly say that I never once walked away thinking it is a waste of time
but felt satisfied with what I have learnt and a growing confidence to achieve. I started on the "kick-start"
motor bike which I loved and after completing the CBT with Martin my instructor.....decided to get those saved
pennies and buy a 125 (electric starter) He was able to offer me options on which way to go about my Final
bike test. I chose to do the A2 motor-bike test which I was tested on my 125. This I felt more comfortable
with....rather than jumping straight onto a 500 to do the test. Now I will have a 2 year restriction but will
beable to ride upto a 400 (I think!)...a little more power....but have the opportunity to still beable to
continue on that learning curve with added experience. Taking my time about doing the test has been valuable
to me because I have leart how valuable those life savers are. I think I'll still beable to hear Martins voice
saying "Life Saver!" I will certainly be popping in for those cup of teas you have kindly offered!!!! whilst
out on my bike and will for sure be asking Martin/Kick-start for advice when I consider buying a bigger bike.
Once again a very very very big "THANK YOU" I surely recommend to anybody who wishes to do heir motorbike test
to attend "Kick-start" Danny xx Lessons never felt like a chore despite my awkward shift patterns and Martin
was so very helpful in heping me to schedual my lessons.

Thanks to all at KickStart
I would really like to thank everyone at KickStart. My CBT was arranged straight
away and because it was really cold we didn't get out on the road long enough as my safety was put first so we
arranged another time to finish off. All done with no problem I went back had a really great session and
learnt loads from my instructor Nick. I've now got my first moped and will put all the things he taught me in
to practice. Thanks KickStart. What a really nice bunch of folks

How the roads have changed !
I went to Kickstart upon recommedation to do my CBT,having last ridden a bike
back in the 70's. Boy! have things changed. Eddie Waters certainly knows his business and is very patient. His
intruction on the radio whilst shadowing was constant. Pointing potential dangers out and essential bike and
road awareness. Things very often forgotten when driving a car ! Eddie and Martin are friendly, easy going
guys, who know their job inside out. A pleasure to ride with. Regards Dave

A life changing experience !
Some words of thanks to Eddie and Martin at kickstart for their diligence,
humour and more importantly their patience and respect. Returning to riding after 20 years has been a huge and
life changing experience. I was so nervous and tense on my CBT, I ached for 4 days. Afterwards, I gave myself
a little time to think and in the meantime stayed in touch with Eddie, Finally, he was able to get me back on
that seat and riding. Alot of coaching and support followed, I passed my test 6 months later ( something I
never ever thought I could do ) and I now have a beauty of my own. These intructors are the best and come
highly recommended. They have a way of passing on their wealth of knowledge without pressure. This in turn
helps you to build your confidence and ultimatly ride safely. Thank you for helping me to believe I could
achieve my aim. As for anyone else out there. If you really arn't sure whether this is for you.. Come to
Kickstart !! Book it.. Try it.. Ride it.. and see. The only looking back you'll do is on a "Lifesaver" !
